Hello all. Things have been... interesting recently. Back in 2010 I was diagnosed with neurocardiogenic syncope, or NCS for short. It's a dysautonomia disorder that causes a rapid drop in blood pressure, followed by loss of consciousness, and in my case, non-epileptic seizing. It's been getting a lot worse over the last few months, and recently we noticed that Gaia, our new pup, has been alerting to the changes in my blood pressure, essentially warning me before the episodes happen. Life is crazy sometimes. I fully intended to start beading again, but then after we dealt with the big move, I got rear-ended at high speed on the freeway while I was stopped in traffic. It totaled my car, and I'm still dealing with the residual effects of the injuries from the accident, and the arduous claims process. Then, we also got a dog! I put a photo of her on here. She's a purebred Siberian Husky, and is a real handful. Right now she is taking over our lives with her boundless levels of energy. Nearly unpacked now! As soon as things are completely done, I will be finishing my current project and moving on to a few others. I have a week off in a couple weeks, so hopefully I should have plenty of time to do some bead work then. Hoping to be more active on DA now that things are starting to come together in my personal life. Also, I have a Twitter now! Way behind the times, I know.
